Lakeland ThunderBolts News Release

Lakeland, Fla. - The National Indoor Football League All-Star Committee voted two of the Lakeland ThunderBolts players into the most prestigious game of the year. This was great news coming on the heels of information that the ThunderBolts had indeed made the playoffs.

Jeremy Martin, 25, a former Gardner-Webb University standout from Rhode Island, stormed his way through the voting process, despite missing five games this year, four of which involved an injury. Jeremy ranks seventh in the league in passing, with 34 touchdowns and 1814 yards. His quarterback rating was 105.8 at the conclusion of the season. He led the ThunderBolts to a playoff opportunity. The playoff schedule is currently undetermined. Martin makes his off season home in Sarasota.

Damian Demps, 25, of University of Central Florida also made the All-Star game. Damian plays as one of the best defensive backs in the league, with six breakups and eight interceptions throughout his twelve games.

The National Indoor Football League All-Star Weekend is August 5 and 6 in Odessa, Texas. For tickets and information, please visit www.nationalindoorfootballleague.com.
