
Two Players Suspended by SPHL

HUNTERSVILLE, NC - The SPHL today announced that it has suspended two players for incidents in last night's games.
Fayetteville FireAntz forward Aaron McGill has been suspended one game for his actions during Friday's game against Bloomington.
At the 16:41 mark of the third period, McGill was assessed a minor penalty for instigating, a major penalty for fighting and a game misconduct under Rule 46.11 for instigating an altercation in the last five minutes of regulation.
McGill will miss Fayetteville's game against Bloomington tonight.
Knoxville Ice Bears defenseman Paul Kurceba has been suspended one game for his actions during Friday's game against Pensacola.
At the 17:48 mark of the third period, Kurceba was assessed a minor penalty for instigating, a major penalty for fighting and a game misconduct under Rule 46.11 for instigating an altercation in the last five minutes of regulation.
Kurceba will miss Knoxville's game against Columbus tonight.
