Delmarva Shorebirds News Release
Remembering the game of baseball in the simplest of forms, when it was a tennis ball, a broomstick, and the shirt off your back to throw down for home plate, and an afternoon full of friends... ...that is how Mr. Curt Motton remembers the game. Curt played the game with a smile on his face and his heart on his sleeve. Playing from the years of 1967 to 1974, three different teams and 146 games later Curt Motton played every game like it was his last. When Motton was asked about his favorite part of being on those successful Orioles Team in the late 60's and early 70's he stated, "it was the friendships he gained over the years."
