
Two Hurlers Join RedWolves

The RedWolves announce the signing of two west coast pitchers for the 2013 summer season. John Oberholtzer a 5-10/195lb So LHP from San Jose St and Tim Hill a 6-4/190lb Jr. LHP from Bacone College in Oklahoma, Hill hails from Symar, CA.
The RedWolves invite local businesses to have their company outings at a RedWolves home game this summer. The new stadium at Francis Marion has a suite and deck area that are available to reserve for an event and are a great place to watch a ball game from. The RedWolves schedule is posted on the website as well.
RedWolves Summer Camp- The annual RedWolves summer camp will be held at Sparrow Stadium at Francis Marion, June 10-13 from 9am-12:30pm. Cost is $85 per camper and open to ages 6-15. The camp will be taught by the RedWolves players and coaching staff. Sign up forms can be downloaded from the RedWolves website or picked up at All Star Sports on Second Loop Rd.
RedWolves Open House- The RedWolves will host an open house at Sparrow Stadium for fans and businesses to tour the facility on March 16th from noon-3pm. RedWolves reps will be on hand to discuss ticket sales, partnership opportunities and company outing events at this time. For more information call the RedWolves office at 629-0700.
The Florence RedWolves are a proud member of the Coastal Plain League, the nation's hottest summer collegiate baseball league. Celebrating its 17th season in 2013, the CPL features 14 teams playing in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. The CPL gives college players the chance to refine their skills with the use of wooden bats. Players are housed with local host families for the summer and past experiences have been very positive for both players and hosts. The CPL has had over 1,000 alumni drafted and 57 alums - including 2011 AL MVP and Cy Young winner Justin Verlander - make their Major League debut thus far.
