Two Aviators Earn Team of the Week Honours

Edmonton, June 2, 2004 â Today, two Edmonton Aviators were named to the USL teams of the week for the week ending May 30th.
Jose Luis Campi was named to the A-League team of the week as goaltender. He made 12 saves in a 1-1 draw with Calgary on May 28, and earned a shutout by making five saves against the Minnesota Thunder on May 30.
On the women's side, Sandy Ash was named one of three forwards on the W-League's team of the week. Ash scored both goals in an Aviators 2-1 victory over the Arizona Heatwave on May 30th.
Both Aviators teams play Thursday, June 3 at Commonwealth Stadium. The men play the Seattle Sounders Men at 6pm (MST) and the women play the Seattle Sounders Women at 8:30pm (MST).
