
Twisters Looking Statewide For Players

North Little Rock, AR: First year head coach Danton Barto continues his search to add local talent to the 2010 Arkansas Twisters. The Twisters will hold its second open tryout Sunday, January 17 at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, AR. The tryout will take place at the Ouachita Baptist indoor sports facility. Registration and warm-up will start at 1pm.
Registration is $50 and will only be accepted by cash or money order.
Players will be evaluated based on 40-yard dash, 20-yard shuttle, vertical jump, agility, and various position specific drills. Those trying out are asked to wear shorts and t-shirt as no pads or helmets will be used during the tryouts.
Players are encouraged to call the Twister office at 501-975-5425 for more information. Players needing hotel accommodations are also encouraged to call the Twister office for recommendations.
