
Twisters Assigned Former Hogs Standout

(North Little Rock, AR) - The Arkansas Twisters have been assigned defensive back Randy Kelly by the arenafootball2 League Office. Kelly starred as a safety for the University of Arkansas.
The 2006 Pre-Season All-SEC selection was second on the Hogs in tackles with 100 and played in the Citrus Bowl against Wisconsin and the SEC title game against Florida. He earned Hogwired.com Defensive Player of the Week three times, and SEC Defensive Player of the Week honors once during the '06 season. He finished his senior season as one of just two Razorbacks players with 100 or more tackles, six tackles for losses of 36 yards, two sacks and a 39 yard fumble return for a touchdown.
The Arkansas Twisters open the 2008 season on the road on Saturday, April 5th at Oklahoma City with the home opener on Friday, April 11st against the defending af2 champion Tulsa Talons.
