Twins Drop Another to Cane Cutters

Youngsvile, LA - The Texarkana Twins dropped both games in the two-game series in Youngsville, Louisiana against the Acadiana Cane Cutters. This loss brings the Twins record to 9-9 for the season.
The Cane Cutters jumped out on top quickly in the 2nd inning making the score 3-0. In the 5th they pushed their lead even further making it 6-0, giving the Twins a lot of ground to cover and not much time.
In the 7th inning the Twins finally punch through and score off of a wild pitch, narrowing the gap to 6-1. In the bottom half of the inning the Cane Cutters put three more on the board bringing the score to 9-1. The Twins only had one more at bat to put runs on the board.
The ball club rallied in the 9th putting three runs on the board from three hits. This brought the final score to 9-4 making it a tough loss for the Twins. The club had seven hits on the night, three of them were in the 9th inning, and it just wasn't enough to keep up with the Cane Cutters.
The Twins take a short two-day break before hosting a pair of two game home series at George Dobson Field against the Generals and then the Cane Cutters.
