Turfcats And Talk 1370 AM Team Up To Broadcast Turfcats' 2010 Games

AUSTIN, Texas (3/12/10) - The Austin Turfcats announced today that they have signed a broadcasting deal with Entercom Communications to have all of the Turfcats' 2010 season games broadcast locally on Talk Radio 1370 AM (KJCE-AM) and other platforms.
"The Entercom Family in Austin - Talk 1370, Mix 94.7 and Majic 95.5 - is excited to be a broadcast partner of the Turfcats for their inaugural season in the IFL, the premier indoor football league in America", said Alan Kirshbom, Vice President & Market Manager for Entercom Austin. "With 25 teams vying for the title, it should be a fun-filled, fast paced season as Talk 1370 AM brings it to you, one play at a time."
In addition to the primary signal on 1370 AM, Talk 1370 programming is simulcast on Majic 95.5's HD3 channel (HD Radio required). The station's broadcast is also available for streaming online at www.talk1370.com.
"We're excited about this new way for our fans to keep up with the Turfcats, even on the road," said Kasey Johns, Turfcats' Director of Operations and Communications. "The staff over at Entercom have been a great help so far as we have been preparing the broadcasts, and we look forward to working through the season with them as we continue to develop this new coverage platform for our fans."

The Turfcats' 2010 season, and the broadcasts on Talk 1370, begin on Sunday, March 14, as the Turfcats travel to Corpus Christi to take on the Hammerheads. Kickoff is at 4:05pm. The Turfcats' home opener is Friday night, April 2, against the Amarillo Venom at the Travis County Expo Center.
