BOISE, Idaho, March 16, 2011- Center Byron Mullens tallied 13 points, four rebounds and three blocked shots and forward Latavious Williams added 15 points and nine boards but the Tulsa 66ers (29-14) fell short on the road to the Idaho Stampede (18-24) by a 94-85 final Wednesday evening inside Qwest Arena.
Also scoring in double figures for Tulsa was Elijah Millsap with 12 points. As a team, the 66ers posted 15 assists on the night, led by five from guard Brandon Brooks.
The game, which featured seven lead changes and nine ties, was tied 84-all before the Stampede used a 10-1 run to the end the game to collect the victory.
Leading the Stampede was Luke Babbitt with 30 points and 14 rebounds. Also posting a double-double for Idaho was Jermareo Davidson with 17 points and 13 boards.
Next up, the 66ers conclude their road trip by visiting the New Mexico Thunderbirds for a back-to-back this Friday and Saturday, March 18-19. Both games are scheduled to tip at 8:30 p.m. CT.
