Tulsa Acquires Future Draft Picks

TULSA, Okla., March 8, 2013 - The Tulsa 66ers acquired a third and fourth round pick in the 2013 NBA D-League Draft in two separate trades, the team announced Friday. The 66ers received the Los Angeles D-Fenders' third round pick in exchange for center Travis Hyman and the Canton Charge's fourth round pick in exchange for guard Brady Morningstar.

In 25 games with the 66ers (1 start), Hyman averaged 3.3 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in 10.6 minutes. Tulsa originally acquired Hyman in the second round (22 overall pick) of the 2012 NBA D-League Draft.

Morningstar saw action in 64 games over the past two seasons (20 starts), averaging 8.3 points, 2.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 24.3 minutes. The Kansas product was drafted in the third round (34th overall pick) of the 2011 NBA D-League Draft.

The 66ers are back in action Sunday afternoon in a 4 p.m. matchup against the Iowa Energy in Des Moines, Iowa.
