Abilene Prairie Dogs News Release
ABILENE, TX - After using six pitchers in a 14 inning victory over the Colts on Monday night, The Prairie Dogs removed Braden Tullis from the inactive list in preparation for Thursday's contest in San Angelo. Matt Thompson was released.
Tullis, who was placed on the Inactive list on Wednesday afternoon, is 1-1 with a 7.20 ERA in five starts with Abilene this season. While he will not make his scheduled start this evening in San Angelo, the righty is likely to be available out of the bullpen. The Prairie Dogs used all but one reliever on Wednesday night, and the six arms that trotted out of the pen totaled seven innings of scoreless relief.
Thompson, an opening day member of the team and a McMurry graduate, was 2-21 on the season with three R.B.I., six walks, and 10 strikeouts.
The Dogs and Colts collide for the fourth consecutive night beginning with a 7:05 first pitch at Foster Field in San Angelo.
