Tuesday's Pacifics Game Rained Out; Sunday Doubleheader Scheduled

SAN RAFAEL, Calif. - The San Rafael Pacifics have announced that Tuesday night's game versus the Hawaii Stars has been postponed due to rain.
While the first rainout in team history isn't cause for celebration, fans will get to double their fun on Sunday, when the Pacifics face the Stars at Albert Park. The teams will play two seven-inning games in a Sunday doubleheader, reinforcing the team's theme of "baseball... like it used to be." First pitch of game one remains at 1:15 p.m. while game two will begin 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one.
The "Aloha Christmas in June" promotion has been moved to the night of Wednesday, June 26. The first 200 fans in attendance will receive a Christmas gift to commemorate the celebration and one lucky kid (aged 10 and under) will also go home with a bike from Mike's Bikes at the end of the evening. One lucky parent will receive a certificate for a massage to Body Celebration Day Spa. Santa Claus and Pacifics mascot Sir Francis the Drake will also be in attendance spreading holiday cheer.
On Thursday, the first 500 fans in attendance will receive a Sir Francis the Drake bobblehead, courtesy of Pete's 881 Club, and on Friday night the Pacifics will debut new red jerseys as part of Equator Coffee Friday Nights, and a family favorite, Baseball Bingo, presented by West End Caf̮̩.
The forecast looks bright the rest of the week and fans will need their sunglasses. Luckily, MINI of Marin is providing the first 500 fans to Sunday's doubleheader with a free pair of sunglasses!
Tickets from Tuesday night's game will be honored for any future Pacifics home game during 2013, including Wednesday's "Aloha Christmas in June" and Sunday's doubleheader. Tickets for the rest of the week are still available at pacificsbaseball.com.
