
Troy-Piqua fans have chance at Silverbacks tickets

Fans attending this Friday's much-anticipated match up between the Troy Trojans and the Piqua Indians will have the chance at walking away with a pair of season tickets for the area's only professional indoor football team, the Miami Valley Silverbacks.
For absolutely no charge, those in attendance of the state's oldest high school football rivalry can enter a drawing for two Silverbacks 2007 season tickets, to be awarded during the game. Entry tables will be located at both the home and visitor gates. Fans can either print their name, address, phone number and E-mail (optional) on a 3" x 5" card or use one of the forms available at the gate.
The Silverbacks, the Miami Valley's Professional Indoor Football team, will open their 2007 season on March 30th on their home field at Hobart Arena in Troy. "There is so much passion behind football in this area, really behind athletics in general, and we would love to give somebody the chance to carry that passion into the fast-paced world of arena football," said head coach Matt King. "We would love the see the rival fans of these two great high school teams unite for the Silverbacks come spring."
