
Dayton Silverbacks host Silverbabes Audition

(Dayton, Ohio) The Dayton Silverbacks of the Continental International Football League (CIFL) will be holding an audition for the 2011 Silverbabes Cheer and Dance Team Sunday, January 2 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Howard ¬â¢s School of Dance at 5533 Far Hills Avenue.
¬ÅWe are looking for cheerleaders and dancers with a passion for football, ¬Â Dayton Silverbacks Cheer and Dance Director Tonika Heath said. ¬ÅThis is a great opportunity for young women to be part of a professional football cheer team and perform before thousands of fans. ¬Â
Ladies must be 18 years of age and available for all five Silverbacks home games at Hara Arena in Dayton, Ohio. Silverbabes members are also expected to serve as ambassadors for the team throughout the season.
There is a registration fee of $15 and participants should bring a headshot and resume ¬â¢ (both non-returnable). Ladies will be asked to learn a short across-the-floor routine that may include high kicks, jazz technique and hip hop choreography, as well as free style.
Participants should wear a 2-piece outfit: a crop-top or sports bra (midriff must show), dance shorts or cheer shorts (no pants or Capri-length pants), flesh-toned tights or pantyhose. Shoes should be dance sneakers, jazz or tennis shoes with non-marking soles.
¬ÅWe are looking for beautiful, talented and physically fit young women who are well spoken and can represent the Silverbabes and Silverbacks organization in a professional and mature manner, ¬Â said Silverbacks General Manager Ryan Evans.
