This Friday night, May 13th, the Dayton Silverbacks will be hosting Veterans/Military appreciation night at their final home game at Hara Arena for the 2011 season. The Silverbacks are elated to welcome the Ohio National Guard on board for the evening's festivities.
The Ohio National Guard will be arriving at Hara Arena at around 6:00 pm to host the pre-game fun. They will be bringing out a Football Toss, Basketball Toss, a Gaming Console Tent, as well as other fun family activities. There will be special Military vehicles on the premises and plenty of National Guard men and women to help celebrate the night.
The Ohio National Guard has not only provided an Ohio Army Coin for the coin toss, but there will also be a Staff Sergeant on hand to perform the toss. The Dayton Silverbacks plan for this to be a fun filled family night to help honor our active fighting men and women of all branches of the Military, as well as a chance to celebrate our Veterans for all they have done for our Country. There will be a saxophone player performing patriotic music at half-time, as well as fun crowd interactive games to join in on. There will also be an amazing end of season game with your Dayton Silverbacks taking on the Chicago Knights. This game will be monumental in helping decide the Silverbacks spot in the playoffs for the 2011 season.
Please join us for a night of Football, Fun, and Honoring our Military/Veterans who all work so hard to keep us safe. Tickets are still available pre-sale on the Silverbacks Hotline at (937) 425-8050. There will also be tickets available night of the game. The doors will open at 6:30 pm, and the game begins at 7:30. Make sure you come out early for all the pre-game family fun provided by the Ohio National Guard.
