Steubenville Stampede to hold first try-outs

Steubenville, Ohio October 16, 2006- The Steubenville Stampede, a first year member of the Continental Indoor Football League (formerly the Great Lakes Indoor Football League) announced today that it will be conducting the first of a planned four open tryouts on November 18, 2006 from 10am to 1pm at St. John Arena in Steubenville.
Interested players may pre-register by submitting a $50 fee and a completed registration form, available at the team website located at http://www.stampedeindoorfootball.com. Players may also register the day of the tryouts between 8:30am and 9:45am. The Registration Fee on the day of the tryouts is $75.00.
The leading rusher in NCAA football history, and three year NFL veteran with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns, Head Coach RJ Bowers is looking for players that 'are ready to be part of a team that is dedicated, hard working, professional and passionate about playing indoor football'.
Players need to have workout clothes (t-shirt and shorts) and turf shoes for the indoor turf.
