Troops Host Home Playoff Game No. 1 On Sunday, March 27

The Brampton Battalion will play the first home game of its best-of-seven Eastern Conference quarterfinal at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 27, regardless of the opponent, the Ontario Hockey League club announced Friday.

The Battalion, currently in sixth place in the conference and hosting the even-numbered games in any series, has the same home schedule for each of three possible first-round matchups. The second home playoff game is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, March 31, and a third, if necessary, for 2 p.m. Sunday, April 3.

The Troops, who have two games left in the regular season, will meet one of the Niagara IceDogs, Oshawa Generals and Ottawa 67's in the first playoff round.
