The Mooseheads announced four more alumni who will be suiting up for the Inaugural Mooseheads Alumni Game against the Halifax Regional Police on Sunday, August 22nd at 2pm at the Halifax Forum.

Jason Troini, a former linemate of Alex Tanguay, ranks 6th in franchise scoring with 194 points over 3 and a half seasons will be making an appearance. Troini has remained in Halifax since his junior career ended in 2000 and is now an Assistant Coach with the team.

"I'm looking forward to putting on the Mooseheads jersey again. It's an organization that has had a big impact on my life" said Troini. "I have made Halifax my home now and I'm really looking forward to this event."

David Brine, one of only 4 Mooseheads to ever collect over 100 points in a regular season, will return to wear the red and green next Sunday. Brine, a Bible Hill native, has played professionally with the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League the last 4 seasons, as well as 9 games with the Florida Panthers in 2008.

Ryan Hillier, a graduate of the Mooseheads in 2008, will also represent the Alumni. Hillier recorded 190 points over 229 games with the Mooseheads, which puts him 7th in franchise scoring. Hillier has spent two injury plagued seasons in the ECHL with Charlotte and Wheeling. Ryan is a native of Hammonds Plains.

Ben MacAskill played 4 seasons in Halifax and sits 10th all-time in games played for the Mooseheads. He recorded 60 points in 224 games and is a 3 time winner of the team's Academic Award for combining excellence on the ice and in the classroom.

Tickets for this special event are just $7, kids 12 and under are free. Alumni tickets also include admission to the Halifax Mooseheads Exhibition Home Opener against Saint John which immediately follows the Alumni Game at 4:30pm. A pre-game BBQ will take place at 1pm outside the Halifax Forum with all proceeds going towards Special Olympics Halifax. Tickets are on sale now at Antlers Merchandise Store, located in the Halifax Metro Centre across from the Ticket Atlantic Box Office.
