Harrison DiNicola doubled to start the scoring in the third inning of the seven-inning contest before scoring on Sedio's first of two homers, a home run to left field. Jordan Brower scored on a failed pickoff throw and error by Keven Pimentel making it 5-0 in the fourth after Axel Johnson knocked in a run with a single earlier in the third inning that made it a four-run game. Sedio's second homer came in the fifth, making it 6-0.

Scotty Dubrule had two of Washington's three hits in the loss, extending his on-base streak to 24 games.

WASHINGTON, Pa. (August 14, Game 2) - Florence used a two-run fifth inning and lost Washington opportunities to sweep Saturday's doubleheader at Wild Things Park.
