
Trio Called up to AHL Chicago

Atlanta Gladiators News Release
The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today that goaltender Dan Turple as well as defenseman Scott Lehman and forward Colton Fretter have been called up to the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League.
Under contract to Chicago, Fretter was named the ECHL Rookie of the Year posting 68 points in 51 games. His 36 goals set a new Gladiators team record for goals in a season. In addition, Fretter was named to the ECHL All Rookie team. He finished with 3 goals in 4 Kelly Cup Playoff games to lead Gwinnett in that category.
Lehman finished the season with 2 goals and 12 assists for 14 points as he appeared in all 72 games with the Gladiators. The Windsor, Ontario native began the season with the Wolves appearing in 3 AHL games this season before being assigned to Gwinnett. He is under contract to Atlanta and was selected in the 3rd round with the 76th pick overall in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
Turple joins Fretter in making his first trip to the AHL this season. In 34 games this season with the Gladiators, Turple has posted an 18-13-3 record and one shut out. He finished with a 3.77 goals against average and a .879 save percentage in his first professional season. He was drafted by the Atlanta Thrashers in the 6th round with the 186th overall pick in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
Fretter, Turple and Lehman should be available for the Wolves for Game 3 of their West Division Semi-Final against the Milwaukee Admirals tonight at 8 p.m.
