
Tribute to Negro League Baseball at 6:05 p.m.

Pensacola Pelicans News Release
Today, Sunday, June 19, 2005, Buck O'Neil will be LIVE at Pelican Park for the Tribute to Negro League Baseball starting at 6:05. A pre-game ceremony which includes a plaque presentation and short speech from Mr. O'Neil will begin at 5:50.
The Buck O'Neil traveling exhibit will also be on display on the first base party deck along with Buck himself signing autographs and speaking with fans. The exhibit includes hundreds of pictures, articles and stories of O'Neil's life and career as a Negro League player and Major League Baseball coach.
Fans also have the opportunity to purchase retro Kansas City Monarch hats, Buck O'Neil baseballs and his book "Right on Time" from the Pelicans merchandise store at Pelican Park.
Monday Madness
Monday Madness is back for round three. Come get a ticket, all you can eat pizza and all you can drink Pepsi and beer from 6:00 - 7:30 for only $15!!
Scott McKinney from Southern Sports Tonight on 98.1 The Ticket will also be LIVE at Pelican Park from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Kids Camp Day
Hey kids, don't have anything to do on Tuesday, June 21? Come to Pelican Park and watch the Pelicans play the Coastal Bend Aviators at 10 a.m. in the last game of the 4-game series.
Make sure you bring your towel as there will be plenty of wet and wild activities for everyone to enjoy. Gates open at 9 a.m. for Kids Camp Day 2005!
