Treasure Honored as VidSwap.com IFL Week 11 Offensive Player of the Week

The IFL announced today that Storm Running Back, Sean Treasure is the Week 11 VidSwap.com IFL Offensive Player of the Week.

Treasure ran wild versus the Muskegon Thunder in Michigan this past Saturday, May 23. Sean helped the Storm to an 87-26 victory as he rushed for a team and IFL record 166 yards on 23 carries. Treasure also had 3 rushing touchdowns in the game improving his touchdown total to 21, 17 of which are on the ground.

Sean is the IFL?s 2009 rushing leader with 617 recorded rushing yards on 148 carries. He is averaging just less than 70 yards on the ground a game.

Treasure, in his third year with the Storm, is currently the team?s third all-time leading rusher with 1,319 yards. He also has 38 rushing TD?s in his career with the Storm, which is third most in team history.

Treasure is currently on pace to end the regular season with 889 rushing yards which would be the most single-season rushing yards in Storm history.

The 2008 UIF Western Conference All-Star came to the Storm in 2007 after playing two seasons at Minnesota State University-Mankato where he still holds the single season record for all-purpose yards with 1,926.

Sean and the Storm are resting this weekend as they have a scheduled bye before they are back on the road June 6th as they travel to Billings, Montana to play the Outlaws. All away games are aired live at Rookies Bar and Grill. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:05 pm CST next Saturday.
