Ball Beauty MVP of the Week
May 29, 2009 - Indoor Football League (IFL)
Sioux Falls Storm News Release
The Sioux Falls Storm has really made a huge impact this season, but not only on the football field. This week the Storm organization has chosen one woman that we feel truly represents the meaning of the word ?Storm?. Over the last few months this woman has worked very hard not only on the field but off the field to make this season a true success.
Our Ball Beauty MVP of the week is Stephany. She is currently working full time in Accounting for Student Loans at Wells Fargo Bank, and she is also a part time server at Johnny Carinos. For a fun job, Stephany coaches the All Star Competitive Cheerleading team for Cheer Force. She graduated from Roosevelt High School and is currently attending Bellevue University.
If you could describe Stephany in three words they would be: fun, outgoing, and nice. Some of Stephany?s best qualities are her honesty, commitment and her loving spirit.
She says ?I feel that honesty is the key to almost anything; if you aren?t true to others than you?re not being true to yourself. I hate when you commit to something important and then break that commitment; it reflects on everybody else who has committed and makes everyone look bad.?
This is one of the qualities that the Storm enjoys most about Stephany; her willingness and commitment to the team. Stephany also has tremendous organizational skills and she is very outgoing. On game days she is very aware about when she has to grab contestants from the stands to bring them on the field, and she comes prepared making sure this happens in a very timely manner.
If Stephany were to have a nickname it should be outgoing. Stephany is always willing to put herself out on the line and really get the job done no matter what it takes.
One of Stephany?s favorite Sports teams is the Broncos. She grew up watching them with her dad and then followed in his footsteps with his love for the team. Something you might not know about Stephany is that she is a biker chick. She has been riding motorcycles since she was 12 years old, and although she is little, she doesn?t let that hold her back. This is Stephany?s first year as a Ball Beauty, and the Storm is very grateful to have her on our team.
