Trax Treasure Hunt Full

Shoppers at the Colonial Mall of Macon will have an extra bonus on Sunday March 9th, the chance to meet the Macon Trax hockey players and win a $500 mall gift certificate.

In a creative twist to meet the team day at the mall, Trax players will be in several locations throughout the mall from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Shoppers will be given a "Trax Treasure Map" showing the players' locations. Shoppers who collect 10 autographs from Trax players can go to center court and enter a drawing for the $500 gift certificate. In addition, the first shopper to return to center court with all 16 Trax player autographs will receive a $25 gift certificate from B.Dalton Bookseller.

Along with being provided with the Trax Treasure maps, shoppers will also be given their autograph page to collect their signatures. Participating locations in the Trax Treasure Hunt are: Merle Norman Cosmetics; Eddie Bauer; Hat Shack; Helzburg Diamonds; Grand Harbour Import Co.; The Children's Place; Macon Rescue Misson at the center fountain; Home Team Collectible Sports; Cortes Jewlers; Limited Too; B. Dalton Bookseller; Whitehall & Company Jewelers; FYE-For Your Entertainment; Atlanta Bread Company; Spy Gadgets; and Sunglass Hut.

The Trax resume their current road trip this Thursday in Knoxville against the Ice Bears. On Friday the Trax travel to Jacksonville to take on the Barracudas and Saturday will visit the Winston-Salem Parrots. Those games can be heard on the internet at www.macontrax.com or www.IRN.FM starting at 7:30 p.m. Eastern time.

The Trax hold their hour long Hockey Happy Hour at Locos Deli & Pub every Monday at 6 p.m. Season tickets for 2003-04 are now on sale.
