WINNIPEG, MB - The following is a list of happenings from Day 8 of the 2006 Winnipeg Blue Bombers training camp:
NEW ARRIVALS: None.
DEPARTURES: None.
INJURIES: RB Onterrio Smith (foot, day-to-day), OL Tyler Tapp (leg, day-to-day), SB Jeff Schieman (quad, week), DB Robert Bean (hamstring, day-to-day), S Ian Logan (hamstring, day-to-day).
TEAM NEWS: The team held an abbreviated practice indoors today as a result of lightning and fierce winds that whipped around Canad Inns Stadium. The team will be back on the field tomorrow for practice from 8:30 a.m. until approximately 12:30 p.m. The Blue Bombers open the exhibition season FRIDAY, JUNE 2 at 7 p.m. when they host the Montreal Alouettes at Canad Inns Stadium. Season ticket buyers who have not yet picked up their ticket packages can pick them up beginning Monday at the Bomber Ticket Office at Canad Inns Stadium during regular business hours.
