Training Camp Begins Next Week

Keystone Ice Miners News Release
CONNELLSVILLE, PA - As players arrive this coming weekend, the Keystone Ice Miners are set to begin training camp to prepare for their inaugural season in Western Pennsylvania. Camp will run from Monday, August 24th through Saturday, September 6th. In addition to practices, off-ice workouts, community events, video sessions and exhibition games, the Ice Miners will train with U.S. Marines based out of Greensburg, PA.
Below is a schedule of notable events. All our open to the public unless otherwise noted.
Thursday, August 28th: Practice - 1:00-3:00 PM
Friday August 29th: Practice - 1:00-3:00 PM
Saturday, August 30th: Practice - 11:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Sunday, August 31st: Scrimmage - 11:00 AM
Monday, September 1st: Practices - 9:00 - 10:30 AM, 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM
Tuesday, September 2nd: "Blue vs. White" Game - 6:30 PM. *Full regular season game presentation, admission is free. Purchase season tickets and pick your seat!*
Wednesday, September 3rd: Practice - 1:00 - 3:00 PM
Thursday, September 4th: Practice - 1:00 - 3:00 PM
Friday, September 5th: Preseason game vs. Richmond Generals - 7:30 PM. *Full regular season game presentation, tickets are $3 to public, free for season ticket holders*
Saturday, September 6th: Preseason game vs. Richmond Generals - 7:30 PM. *Full regular season game presentation, tickets are $3 to public, free for season ticket holders*
The roster for training camp currently stands at 31 players and will be released on Friday.
The Ice Miners inaugural season at The Ice Mine will kick off this fall. Season ticket packages start at $220 for adults and are available for purchase in person at the ticket office. For more information, contact the Keystone Ice Miners office at (724) 626-1584.
