Toys for Tots Returns this Friday

[Macon Ga.] – The annual Trax Toys for Tots day is coming up this Friday night. The Macon Trax players and staff are asking all the great hockey fans in the Heart of Georgia to help.

This Friday, Nov. 28, when the Trax host the Seals, the United States Marines will have drop boxes around the Macon Centreplex. All fans attending the game are asked to bring an unwrapped, new toy for delivery to needy children.

The Toys for Tots program is a yearly toy drive aimed at giving underprivileged children toys during the holiday season. Each year many organizations around the country participate in Toys for Tots in cooperation with the U.S. Marines.

The Macon hockey scene has once again promised to be apart of this great program. In past years Macon Hockey fans have shown how big their hearts are through many different charitable programs.

All members of the Trax know this year will be no different in support from their great fans. The game time for the Friday Nov. 28 game is 7:35 pm. Doors will open at 6:30 pm for all fans to enter.

Tickets for this Friday's game can be purchased by stopping by the Trax office located at the Macon Centreplex. Tickets can also be ordered over the phone with a credit card by calling 478-742-4849.

Tune into to all Trax game this season on www.irn.fm. Until further notice all Trax broadcasts over the internet will be free. All games can also be heard inside the various stadiums by tuning your radio into 89.5 FM for Macon Trax action called by Adam Minnick.
