Tourists to Host Meet-And-Greet on April 3

On Tuesday evening, beginning at 6 p.m., the Tourists will host a Meet-and-Greet dinner at Wild Wing Café. Tourists fans will have the opportunity to meet the players and coaching staff in a fun-filled environment that will include games and prizes as well as mascot appearances, including Mr. Moon.
"We want to encourage all of our fans to come out to Wild Wing Café and help welcome the players to Asheville," said Tourists president Brian DeWine. "Tuesday evening promises to be one of the more enjoyable events of the year for the Tourists while giving the fans and the players an opportunity to meet one another in a relaxed atmosphere. There will be lots of great food and some special events that will help make the night memorable."
The Tourists open the 2012 season at McCormick Field on Thursday, April 5, against the Delmarva Shorebirds, the first part of a seven-game homestand to christen the campaign.
