Jeff McGarry went 3-3 at the plate, helping the Pittsfield Suns (3-3) to a 7-5 victory over the Torrington Titans (1-4) on Tuesday at Wahconah Park.
He singled in the second, third, and fifth innings.
Perry Kulaga brought the heat against the Torrington Titans during his outing. Kulaga held the Torrington Titans hitless over 3 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out none.
Jack St. Clair put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Torrington Titans. He doubled in the fourth inning and homered in the sixth inning.
Kevin Connolly couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Torrington Titans, taking a loss. He lasted just three innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
