Toronto Rock See Success in Season Ticket Sales

The Toronto Rock is excited to announce that they are looking at yet another extremely successful season for ticket sales. The team has reached a 90% renewal rate on season's tickets for the 2005 season and is already at 100% of last years sales figures.

"Each day there are more calls from people who are excited about the Rock and the sport of lacrosse as a whole. There has been a tremendous amount of growth for the sport in Ontario and we are seeing the positive effect of that growth in our fan base." Stephanie Kaman, Director of Sales; Toronto Rock.

Last year, the Toronto Rock averaged 16,650 fans per home game at the Air Canada Centre. Almost 150,000 fans witnessed the Rock in action in the team's 9 home games. On another positive note, the National Lacrosse League as a whole saw a 14% increase in attendance. Average crowds in arenas across North America rose from 8,856 in 2003 to 10,088 in 2004.
