TORONTO - Players from 24 provincial championship teams will be honoured by the Toronto Rock when they begin defence of the NLL championship at the Air Canada Centre against the Arizona Sting on Saturday Jan. 7 at 7 p.m.
The Rock defeated the Sting 19-13 in the 2005 championship game in front of a sold out Air Canada Centre, on May 14, 2005.
All players from 2005 Ontario provincial box lacrosse championship teams will participate in a Parade of Champions just prior to the pre-game ring ceremony and presentation of the 2005 NLL Championship banner.
"This is a great opportunity for the Rock to honour future stars of the game and give them an unforgettable experience," said Rock player and Ontario Lacrosse Association technical director Chris Driscoll. "And we hope we can feed off their support in our first game of the season."
To order tickets for this game, please call Ticketmaster at 416-872-5000 or visit them online at Ticketmaster.ca, or purchase tickets in person at the Air Canada Centre ticket office, located just outside of Gate 1.
