
Toronto FC Returns To Charleston, SC For Preseason

Toronto FC announced Friday that the team will return to Charleston, South Carolina for their fourth appearance in the Carolina Challenge Cup. The 2010 edition of the tournament will once again take place at Blackbaud Stadium, on Daniel Island, SC from March 13-20 and will feature defending MLS Cup Champions Real Salt Lake, D.C. United and the host USL 2 side Charleston Battery.
This is the seventh consecutive year that the Battery has hosted its pre-season tournament.
The competition format will remain unchanged in 2010 with three match day's each featuring a double-header. The games will be played on Saturday, March 13, Wednesday March 17, and Saturday, March 20, with each team playing the other in a round-robin format.
