Toronto Drops Binghamton in a Shootout

The Toronto Marlies defeated the Binghamton Senators, AHL affiliate of the Ottawa Senators, by a score of 2-1 in a shootout this afternoon at Ricoh Coliseum.

Dustin Gazley opened the scoring for the Senators at 4:24 of the first period. Greg Scott's 4th goal of the season at 16:58 of the middle frame tied the score at one. After a scoreless third period and overtime, Joe Colborne scored the game winning goal in the shootout to secure the victory for Toronto.

The Marlies return to the ice on Wednesday morning at Ricoh Coliseum when they host the Syracuse Crunch, AHL affiliate of the Tampa Bay Lightning. Puck drop is set for 11 a.m. For all Toronto Marlies ticket inquiries please call the team's ticket line at 416-597-PUCK (7825).
