Portland Pirates Recall Evan Bloodoff from Gwinnett

Portland, Maine - Phoenix Coyotes Assistant General Manager and Portland Pirates General Manager Brad Treliving announced today that the Portland Pirates have recalled forward Evan Bloodoff from the Gwinnett Gladiators of the ECHL to the Portland Pirates.

Bloodoff, a 5-foot-11, 205 pound left wing, has appeared in 8 games with the Pirates this season, registering a +/- rating of -1 to go with 2 penalty minutes. In 42 games with Gwinnett this year, Bloodoff scored 18 goals and tallied 17 assists with 36 penalty minutes and a +/- Rating of +11.

The 22-year-old native of Castlegar, British Columbia was the Coyotes' 6th choice (157th overall) in the 2009 Entry Draft.
