
Tormenta FC Unable to Outmaneuver a Tough Madison Side

South Georgia Tormenta FC News Release
STATESBORO, Ga. - South Georgia Tormenta FC suffered its seventh loss of the season tonight against Forward Madison FC from Optim Sports Medicine Field at Tormenta Stadium. Tonight saw the return of defender Preston Kilwien to the starting lineup following several weeks of being unavailable due to injury.
Dangerous plays from the right side of the pitch saw Tormenta FC hit the crossbar once from a Kazaiah Sterling shot. South Georgia ended the first half with six shots compared to Madison's three.
In an intense second half between two strong sides, South Georgia was able to get to the danger area multiple times but was unable to finish the opportunities.
Tormenta FC is set to travel for the second time this season to Lexington, Kentucky, to take on Lexington SC next Sunday, July 2, at 7 p.m. ET from Toyota Stadium.
