Tormenta FC to Host "Fans, Food & Futbol" Season Kickoff Event

This Friday, March 8, South Georgia Tormenta FC will host its second annual "Fans, Food, & Futbol" season kickoff event. The event begins at 6:30 pm with a Coach's Show emceed by Statesboro Herald's Mike Anthony.

Interviews from Tormenta FC owner Darin Van Tassell and USL League One head coach John Miglarese will provide insight into the 2019 season. Anthony will also interview several League One players, along with the head of Tormenta FC's new supporter group, Category 5. Heavy horderves will be provided.

The event will take place at The Clubhouse in Statesboro at 2704 Old Register Rd. Doors open at 5:30 pm with the show beginning at 6:30 pm. All Media, VIP season ticket holders and season sponsors gain free entry into the event, while regular season ticket holders and gameday sponsors get in for $10 and general public for $15.

Tormenta FC will play its first professional game and the League One inaugural season opener on Friday, March 29, at Erk Russell Park against Greenville Triumph SC. Tickets are available at www.tormentafc.com.
