Tormenta FC concluded a rocky 4-game road stretch with its first away win. Tonight, Tormenta FC defeated FC Tucson for the second time this season 2-0.

"Great performance tonight," Coach John Miglarese said. "I thought we played well, and we had some good guys put in a top performance. Happy to finally get a win on the road."

During the first half, Tormenta FC kept control and most of the possession, but FC Tucson held its ground and fought back as well. Tormenta FC had several chances, including a challenging shot on target by Alex Morrell that the keeper dove to seek out. By the end of the first half, neither team had conceded.

Tormenta FC picked up the pace in half two with a free kick from Nil Vinyals in the 56th that deflected off the crossbar. Less than a minute later, Tormenta had chance after chance with shots in the box from Charlie Dennis, Alex Morrell, and Marco Micaletto. In the 60th, a run by Micaletto resulted in Tormenta's first goal of the night, assisted by Charlie Dennis.

After Tormenta's goal, FC Tucson began a full field press to steal two points. Tucson got a shot in, but Pablo Jara declined the advance with a save of the week material block.

After 20 minutes of chaos, Tucson sent ten men forward. Tormenta FC felt the pressure and then adjusted accordingly. Tucson also called its goalie forward to add more body to the box, making way for Antley to score his second goal in as many games.

With the win, Tormenta FC earns its first three points on the road and looks to defend its undefeated streak at home on May 12 against Toronto FC II.
