
Tormenta FC Falls to the Battery

South Georgia Tormenta FC News Release
STATESBORO, Ga. - South Georgia Tormenta FC saw defeat in tonight's match against the Charleston Battery despite many positive plays through the offensive line.
In an impressive first half performance, South Georgia was unable to secure a goal despite several opportunities through Mukwelle Akale and Jackson Khoury.
Renzo Andreucetti received minutes in tonight's game, entering the match in the 75th minute of the second half.
In the final minutes of the game, former Tormenta FC player Leland Archer was able to secure the game-winner for the home side.
Tormenta FC now prepares for its final preseason game against Stetson University next Saturday, March 11, at 1 p.m. ET from Optim Sports Medicine Field at Tormenta Stadium.
