Tormenta FC Conquer Orlando City B 4-1

South Georgia Tormenta FC News Release


Tormenta FC conquered Orlando City B tonight 4-1 on the road. This brings Tormenta closer to number one North Texas SC with 29 points.

Marco Micaletto and Conner Antley made the perfect pair tonight with a brace and a double assist against Orlando City B. Micaletto scored a brace with early match goals in the 7th and 13th minutes, making that six goals thus far in the USL League One season. Conner Antley, Midseason Defender of the Year, assisted both of Micaletto's goals.

In the 22nd, Alex Morrell scored Tormenta's third goal of the night from inside the box, assisted by Lucas Coutinho. Tormenta lost its clean sheet in the 40th when Thiago de Souza scored after a set piece. After his two assists, Conner Antley then scored a goal of his own in the 62nd off a header assisted by Charlie Dennis.

Notably, Academy signee Tristan Deloach made his first professional appearance in the 82nd minute, coming on for Dennis.

Tormenta FC now plays Lansing Ignite FC this Saturday at 8 p.m. in Erk Russell Park. On Sunday, Tormenta 2 hosts Reading United AC for the USL League Two Semi-Finals at 8 p.m.
