
Tormenta FC, Battery U.S. Open Cup Match Postponed

South Georgia Tormenta FC News Release
CHARLESTON. SC. - Due to inclement weather in the Charleston region, Wednesday's Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup match between South Georgia Tormenta FC and the Charleston Battery has been postponed.
The teams will now battle it out at 10 a.m. ET on Thursday from Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Fans will be able to watch the fixture exclusively on ESPN+.
The safety of fans, players, coaches, referees and staff is of the utmost priority when evaluating these situations, and both clubs and U.S Soccer came to a collective agreement to not play the match at the scheduled time.
