Nebraska Danger News Release
Corey Surrency: 6'6", 215 lbs. This big play wide receiver will be a great addition to the Danger offense. A former Florida State standout, Surrency averaged 19.8 yards per catch during his junior year. "Getting a guy with that size and speed is very unique," comments Danger Head Coach Mike Davis. "He will definitely be a weapon to be reckoned with this year."
Ikenna Ike: 6'3", 265 lbs. A premiere pass rusher in the WAC and in the CFL, Ikenna brings his talents to the Danger to reunite with former Fresno State teammate Trevor Shamblee. "Ikenna will bring a violent pass rush that we were missing last year. This game starts with the guys up front, and Ikenna will definitely help anchor the d-line," Davis states.
Malo Taumua: 6'2", 280 lbs. Another great addition the Danger d-line, Taumua comes to the Danger from UNLV. Coach Davis believes Malo has a great motor that never stops, as he has all the tools to dominate and play anywhere on the d-line.
Greg Cross: 6'3", 208 lbs. Cross was the nation's number two rated junior college quarterback according to Rivals. While at the University of Pittsburgh, he moved to wide receiver due to injuries in the receiving corps. Coach Davis says, "Greg is a guy who can play multiple positions both offensively and defensively."
