Cedar Rapids RoughRiders News Release

Cedar Rapids, Iowa- The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders' scheduled game against the Omaha Lancers tonight in Council Bluffs has been postponed, the RoughRiders announced today.

The game has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 27 at 7:05PM.

The game was postponed because hazardous winter weather conditions shut down interstate 80 west of Des Moines and thus prevented the RoughRiders from traveling to Council Bluffs today.

The RoughRiders return to action tomorrow night at 7:05 when they face the Waterloo Black Hawks in Waterloo. The RoughRiders (27-14-3, 57 points) and Black Hawks (27-12-3, 57 points) are tied for first place in the United States Hockey League's East Division.

The RoughRiders are next in action at home when they host the Sioux Falls Stampede on both Friday, March 9 and Saturday, March 10. Both games face off at 7:05PM.

Tickets for all remaining RoughRiders regular season home games- including the March 9 and 10 contests- are now on sale. Tickets are available for purchase in person at the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena ticket office, over the phone at (319) 261-4625 or online at roughridershockey.com. The ticket office is open from noon to 5:00PM on weekdays and from noon through the end of the second period on game days. Ticket prices range from $7 to $17 in advance and from $8 to $18 on game days.
