Tonight's Game Cancelled Due to Wet Grounds
June 10, 2019 - Coastal Plain League (Coastal Plain)
Lexington County Blowfish News Release
Due an unplayable surface as a result of this weekend's rain, along with the impending forecast of more rain and storms this evening, tonight's game against the Holly Springs Salamanders has been cancelled. The Blowfish staff worked hard to prepare the field as best as they could for tonight's game, but the field is not safe for players to play on tonight.
The Blowfish do not play the Salamanders again in the first half of the season, but are working to reschedule this game.
We will work with schools who had their reading program nights scheduled for tonight to make up their nights at The Lex. If you have questions regarding your reading program night being rescheduled, please contact:
Victoria Scalise: Community Relations Coordinator at victoria@blowfishbaseball.com
Justin Hall: Director of Media/Broadcasting at justin@blowfishbaseball.com
Theo Bacot: General Manager at theo@blowfishbaseball.com
The Pancakes will make their return to The Lex tomorrow night when we host the Macon Bacon with a first pitch set for 7:05 pm! Our fair food special will be Pancakes on a Stick or Corn Dogs on a Stick!
It's another Dog Day Tuesday, presented by Batesburg Leesville Animal Hospital! So bring your furry friend and enjoy Pancakes Baseball at The Lex.
