Asheville Aces News Release
Asheville, NC-- The Asheville Aces announce that Janis Tomans has been named the Southern Professional Hockey League's Sherwood Hockey "Player of the Week" for the week of November 8. In those two games, the Riga, Latvian native scored the game winner at the 2:50 mark of sudden death overtime to lift the Aces to a thrilling 3-2 comeback over the Fayetteville Fire-Antz last Saturday night.
The Aces return home this weekend for a two game set beginning with the Winston-Salem Polar Twins on Friday. The weekend concludes on Saturday when the Aces face the Huntsville Havoc for the first time this season. Tickets can be purchased at the Asheville Civic Center Box Office or by calling Ticketmaster at (828) 251-5505
