Tolentino Joins Aeros

(Akron, OH)--The Indians announced today that C/1B Patric Tolentino has joined the Aeros from Class-A Lake County. Tolentino is expected to be in uniform for tonight's 7:05 PM game against Erie at Canal Park.
Tolentino, 23, has spent most of the season with the Captains, appearing in 12 games with a pair of home runs and seven RBI. He also made one appearance with Triple-A Columbus, striking out in his only at-bat for the Clippers on May 27th.
Tolentino is in his second pro season after a four year college career, that included two years at Redlands (OK) Community College and two years at the University of Nebraska. He signed with the Indians as a non-drafted free agent on July 3, 2011.
