Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC News Release


Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC gears up to face Phoenix Rising FC in the Division B Final. This week's championship showdown will start at 8:30 p.m. tonight and can be streamed live on the club's Twitch channel.

The Hounds, represented by defender Mark Lindstrom, will continue to play as the Belgium National Team while Phoenix, represented by defender Corey Whelan, will be playing as the Netherlands National Team.

En route to the championship match, Pittsburgh earlier defeated Indy Eleven, 3-2, and Tampa Bay Rowdies, 4-3. Meanwhile, Phoenix won matches against LA Galaxy II, 6-1, The Miami FC, 5-3, and FC Tucson, 3-0.

The Hounds, the No. 1 seed, started this week's bracket with a first-round bye. Rising FC began the 12-team bracket as the No. 7 seed.
