JACKSONVILLE - The Sharks return to Jacksonville for the first time in the 2016 season! We're ready to host the Orlando Predators Monday, April 18th. Kickoff at Sea Best Field in the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena is set for 7:00 p.m.
The Sharks hope to follow up after a huge win against the Philadelphia Soul. Jacksonville is split on the season with a 1-1 record. This home opener may just be one of the biggest games of the season facing in-state rival Orlando Predators who are currently undefeated (2-0). The two teams last met up in the American Conference Semifinals where the Sharks beat the Predators 55-33 at Amway Center to enter the American Conference Championship.
Whether you are a long time Season Ticket Holder or about to head to your first Sharks game, please see below for a rundown of what to expect at the Shark Tank on tonight!
Redneck Night
If you're new to the Sharks, our Theme Nights are designed to take the overall game experience to a new level, as the music, on-field promotions and merchandise are tailored to fit a particular theme. Redneck Night will feature a fun atmosphere where mullets, camo gear, cowboy boots and jean shorts are the style with country music in the air!
Monday Fun Days
For this week's game, the Sharks are offering buy one get one free tickets for all Jacksonville residents OR your kids can get in FREE with the purchase of one adult ticket (up to two free kids tickets ages 3-14 per each paid adult ticket). This way, there are two affordable ways for everyone to come see their favorite home team!

SharkFest - Featuring a Performance by The Double Down Band
SharkFest, our pre-game block party held outside the arena, is back and better than ever this season! SharkFest begins at 5:00 p.m. tonight. The Double Down Band will be performing to start Redneck Night off right. The Double Down Band is a Jacksonville band that performs all kind of music, such as Top 40, Country, Soul and Pop. Make sure to catch their performance!
Many of our corporate partners will be set up at SharkFest as well, so be sure to stop by their displays and check out everything they have to offer!
Halftime with Brett Myers
Halftime of Monday's game will feature country music singer and former MLB star Brett Myers. The Florida native will be performing songs off his debut EP album "Backwoods Rebel" that is sure to get the fans pumped and excited during Redneck Night.
Fling-A-Football
How's your aim? Presented by our friends at Jaguar Power Sports, our halftime Fling-A-Football promotion gives you a chance to win a prize package that includes a $400 Sharks Bucks and a Sharks customized jersey! At just $1 per throw (and 6 for $5), you might as well give it a shot! Be sure to have your mini-footballs ready when halftime rolls around!
Fling-A-Footballs are available for purchase at the Jaguar Power Sports display at SharkFest, as well as inside the arena on the main concourse until the middle of the second quarter.
Sea Best Concession Stand
If you haven't had a chance to enjoy some delicious Sea Best Seafood at the Sea Best Concession Stand, be sure to stop by this season and start your season off right!
The menu is stacked with delicious options, including Coconut Shrimp, Crab Sliders, Grilled Mahi Salad and Fish n Chips! Tonight's Sea Best Special is Fish n Chips for only $8 (reg. $11).
Beer Specials
Budweiser Tall Boys are going for only $6 (reg. $10) and we have a variety of can beers in the food court for only $4!
New Concessions
This season will also present some new concession stands that are sure to satisfy your taste buds! Section #111 will present the NEW Craft Beer Corner with a variety of seasonal craft beers. Section #104 will have a NEW Mister Softee Ice Cream and Shake Stand located across from SeaBest.
Bucket Policy
Please note that for safety purposes, fans will not be able to bring large buckets or aerosol airhorns into the arena.
Doors Open
Tonight the doors open at 5:30 p.m. for season ticket holders and 6:00 p.m. for the general public. The game begins at 7:00 p.m.
