INDIANAPOLIS- Coming off the heels of a much-needed 2-1 win over a red-hot Miami FC side, Indy Eleven will face an even sterner test this Saturday, Sept. 24, when the Fall and Combined Season leader New York Cosmos comes to IUPUI's Carroll Stadium.
Kickoff on Indy Eleven's annual Hispanic Heritage Night this Saturday, presented by Indiana Donor Network and Financial Center, is set for 7:30 p.m. ET for a match that will air live locally on WISH-TV, nationally on ONE World Sports and online via ESPN3.com 95&idf76a2a91e8&eee02f21f4a) . Fans can also listen to the action on Spanish-language radio partner Exitos Radio AM 1590 and Exitos1590.com 795&id4f057adb09&eee02f21f4a) .
With Indy Eleven trailing the first-place Cosmos by seven points in both the Fall and Combined standings with just seven games remaining, Saturday's match will carry heavy Fall title and The Championship seeding implications for Indiana's Team, which carries a 15-game home unbeaten streak (12W-3D-0L) in regular season play into "The Mike" this weekend.
Indy Eleven will kick off this week's schedule this morning at 11:00 a.m. with its annual "Eat United" practice session in support of United Way of Central Indiana on the campus of the Eli Lilly Corporate Center in downtown Indianapolis. Following Wednesday and Thursday morning practices at its Grand Park training home in Westfield, Indy Eleven will practice Friday morning at Carroll Stadium from 10:15-11:00 a.m. to finalize preparations for Saturday's showdown. See below for full details on this week's training schedule.
