Today's Game Between Palm Beach and Bradenton Suspended

JUPITER, FL - The Florida State League game between the Palm Beach Cardinals and the Bradenton Marauders on Sunday, July 6 has been suspended in the fifth inning due to inclement weather in the Jupiter area. The game will resume on August 22 at 5:05 p.m. at Roger Dean Stadium. The regularly scheduled game between the two squads on the 22nd will be a seven-inning contest starting approximately 30 minutes after the completion of game one.

The Marauders were ahead 3-1 with two outs in the bottom of the fifth when play was suspended. Cesar Valera was on first base and Dante Rosenberg was at the plate with a 1-1 count for the Cardinals.

Fans who purchased tickets to today's game may exchange them at the Roger Dean Stadium ticket office for any other remaining regular season game with the exception of Roger Dean Stadium's three remaining Great Eight promotional nights.

The Cardinals are off on Monday before starting a three-game series with the Fort Myers Miracle on Tuesday at Roger Dean Stadium. First pitch is set for 6:35 p.m. and RH Silfredo Garcia (4-1, 2.70) is expected to start on the mound for Palm Beach.
